Bus Service | To Kuantan | From Kuantan

Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan
Alight at University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) after Gambang Toll exit. There are a few UMP signboards along the way. The coach driver would normally stop at UMP gate as indicated in the map. It is about 2.5KM to walk to Dhamma Malaya or please click here for taxi information.

Johor Bahru to Kuantan (via Segamat) - this way is easier
Please find a bus company that go pass Segamat from Larkin Bus Terminal. These buses pass by the Caltext petrol station specified in the map. It is about 3KM walk to Dhamma Malaya or please click here for taxi information. To drop off near Gambang, please speak to the driver when you board the bus.

Here are a few possible bus companies:

Johor Bahru to Kuantan (Coastal Route)
Get down at Kuantan bus station and take a taxi to Gambang.

Singapore to Kuantan (Coastal Route)
Get down at Kuantan bus station and take a taxi to Gambang. It maybe easier if you take a bus from Larkin following the above instruction for   "Johor Bahru to Kuantan (via Segamat)".

Sungai Petani to Kuantan (via Kuala Lumpur)
Bus service is available from Sungai Petani to Kuantan. Take an overnight bus and you will arrive the centre the next morning. The bus journey is about 8 hours. Please alight at University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) after Gambang Toll exit. It is about 2.5KM to walk to Dhamma Malaya or please click here for taxi information.

Kuantan to Kuala Lumpur
The coach depart from Kuantan bus station can pick you up at the bus stop opposite University Malaysia Pahang (UMP). However, you must inform them when you buy the ticket.

Taxi Service at Gambang
Please call taxi driver Fatt at 0139582455 to pick you up when you are in Gambang. The negotiated rate is RM8 per car per trip (maximum 4 people) from the following locations:

1) If you get off at UMP, please wait at the road side where you get off.
2) If you get off opposite Caltex petrol station, please cross the road and wait at the taxi stand near Caltex petrol station. There are a few small food stalls behind the taxi stand.

Please note that Mr Fatt is a private taxi driver and does not have any connection with Dhamma Malaya. Dhamma Malaya will not be responsible for services provided by him.
